Our company, Iveria Motors, is working on introducing modern systems to solve the acute parking problem in Georgia. We are considering above-ground, underground, and elevator-type multi-story parking systems. Based on the experiences of various countries, we have selected the specific types of parking systems that would be most effective for Georgia.
These are: the Puzzle-type two- and multi-level systems; the Tower-type multi-story elevator systems; and the Carousel rotary systems. These systems consist of metal structures that are easily installed in required locations, do not require large capital investments, are convenient and easy to manage, and can also be dismantled and relocated if necessary. The installation of these metal structures is possible in densely populated areas where new construction is difficult.

The Rotary-type parking system consists of a carousel-style structure that moves in a vertical-circular motion. It is characterized by its simplicity and speed of operation; each system occupies the space of only 3 cars on the ground, while vertically, it can accommodate 12–13 parking spaces.
As for the Tower-type multi-story elevator parking system, it functions like a lift that raises the car to the intended floor, while a sliding mechanism transfers the vehicle to its designated parking spot. Once the lift device descends back to the ground level, the platform’s configuration ensures that the vehicle’s controls are oriented outward, allowing the driver to exit and drive away immediately.
Regarding paid parking systems, these can be situated in commercially attractive locations with high traffic volume, such as hospitals, shopping centers, hotels, and government institution areas. In such cases, each parking space could be rented for 2 GEL per hour.
